Deck FAQs
- Do you pull permits for new decks and major rebuilds?
- Yes. We handle permits and inspections and build to the current Georgia Residential Code.
- Can you attach to my house safely?
- Yes. We use proper ledger fasteners, lateral load connections, and continuous flashing where an attached deck is appropriate. When an attachment is not advisable we design a free standing deck.
- Can you repair only part of my deck?
- Often yes. If the structure is sound we can replace boards, rails, and stairs. If structure is compromised we will recommend the safest path to bring it current.
- What materials do you install?
- Pressure treated pine, composite and PVC boards, and aluminum or steel rail systems. We help you compare maintenance, temperature, and look.
- Do you offer under deck solutions or lighting?
- Yes. We coordinate under deck drainage, outlets, fans, and low voltage lighting with licensed partners for electrical work.
- Do you work with HOAs?
- Yes. We assist with drawings, color selections, and submittals in Columbia County communities.
